Raul Ernesto Henriquez has built a dynamic career as an entrepreneur, operator, public servant, and venture capitalist.

Raul Ernesto Henriquez is a Partner at Medina Ventures, where he focuses on sourcing, diligencing, and supporting early-stage investments across AI infrastructure, quantum computing, and other frontier technologies. His work includes founder engagement, technical and commercial diligence, portfolio support, and partnership development across government, enterprise, and strategic stakeholders.

Raul is also a co-founder of Spreadwise, a fintech platform that enables high-net-worth investors to access liquidity from concentrated portfolios in a tax-efficient manner without selling assets or disrupting existing custodial relationships.

In addition, Raul serves as a Board Observer at Insigneo Financial Services, where he advises on strategic initiatives, technology adoption, and growth across global wealth management operations.

Previously, Raul was a Managing Partner at Candor Ventures, a startup studio and venture builder, where he worked hands-on with founding teams on company formation, technical execution, and early commercialization. Candor pioneered a capital-efficient venture-creation model by embedding senior technical teams alongside initial capital.

Earlier in his career, Raul was an early employee at Cameo, contributing across operations and growth during the company’s formative years through its emergence as a unicorn. Prior to that, he served as Director of U.S. Operations at Represent.com, a Y Combinator–backed company acquired by Custom Ink.

Raul began his career in Washington, D.C., serving in the Office of the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and later as a personal aide to Jeb Bush during the 2016 presidential campaign, gaining early exposure to leadership, policy, and national-level decision-making.

Raul holds a Bachelor of Science from Babson College, with concentrations in Strategic Management and International Business.
